Jimmy Sorel joined Personal Best Physical Therapy in June 2023 following training at Personal
Best as a student clinician in Fall 2022. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in
2023 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Jimmy is certified in bike fitting and physical therapy for the cyclist. He has clinical experience in
outpatient orthopedic and neurologic rehab as well as subacute inpatient rehab. Jimmy is a
lifelong athlete and uses his experience in and out of competition to help develop proper plans
of care and return to activity. He ran track and field in undergrad at Rochester Institute of
Technology where he found success as a hurdler, sprinter, and jumper, and continues to stay
active with Tough Mudders and other obstacle races, triathlons, and cycling events.
Outside of athletics, Jimmy directs, teaches, and performs improv and sketch comedy, and he
enjoys playing board games and video games with friends.
